I know that I said that Jake dying (seriously Jane?? Seriously??? At least you looked somewhat remorseful over doing it) made this whole story-line pointless. But really, it did a LOT of important things.

It got basically everyone together on the same planet. Not just most of the kids, but
It let Jack and PM managed to fly to the planet, meaning that Space Dirk and Slick shouldn’t be too far behind.

By Aranea having the ring, it stalled John from giving the Ring to Roxy==>to Callie, thus giving more time for Jade and Callie to hang out and encourage Callie’s new powers.

It allowed for Jade to maybe not be under Ferrari’s control again.

Dirk dropped his unbreakable sword, so now there are 2 ultimate swords around here, one for each Strider.

And…Gamzee is high again??? That one hits the worse I think. Because he was acting high because he was high from the pie. And only became evil when he became sober. But with Aranea snapped back into place with her soul, it was like her powers of healing(”fixing”) screwed with Gamzee’s mind again to make him back into his high personality permenantly.

And I don’t know how to feel about that.

On the one hand, I get high!Gamzee back. I liked him like that, he was chill and fun. They don’t have to worry about him being too much of an evil threat, or at least him being a sanctimonious bastard anymore.

On the other hand….I don’t like how Aranea just screwed with his mind like a fucking toy. Even if this was accidental, it doesn’t excuse what she did. It’s like…she just lobotomized his personality. Not to mention the other ghosts that she still might have control over, who knows what happened to them.

Was he evil and cruel before? Yes. But to force a new personality/calmer sedated one on someone to “fix” them……that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

And Terezi! This just Fucks her right up doesn’t it! Now she can never get her justice, not really. Even if Gamzee is remorseful of his past actions, this isn’t the real one you wanted to hurt was it? Terezi wanted to hurt the high clown-priest dildo troll who abused and hurt her. But he isn’t that anymore. And honestly, I’m not sure if he will ever become that ever again. 

Does Gamzee even remember what he did sober??? If he had this…Jekyll and Hyde thing going on, is he still accountable for the actions he did as a different person?? These are serious questions people.

All I know….is that this is such a shit-show.

I love how after all of that bravado and smug planning, she is just scared shitless by Jane letting loose.
