Oh you are evil, I accept your challenge. You have no idea how hard this was. So the character I like the best is Karkat, so here are the 5 things for Equius and Karkat.

Things I like about Equius

  1. I do like his dedication for a cause. Do I hate that it is directed at something fucking awful as blood supremacy, ye. Yes I do. But I also can’t help respect him for his loyalty for this either. He is ride or die for the hierarchy, like a knight to a king. So I can respect that.
  2. I do like his tenacity. He has rage for days, but his fight scenes against monsters with nothing but fists was pretty col. I can’t argue with his skill
  3. (Fucking kill me for this) His coy nature when trying out his kink. Like, he gets nervous talking about his kink or being called out on it. And to see him put himself out there to see if anyone wants to help in his fantasies, that does take some courage to do. I like this side of him because this way I know even in his hardest thick-headedness of castest bullshit and anger issues, he still has a timid and softer side to him that makes him more well-rounded as a character
  4. and on the subject, after looking back…..he doesn’t actually do it without people’s consent. Let’s be clear, I will always hate forcing roleplay on someone who doesn’t want it/doesn’t know. But…when Equius was roleplaying with Gamzee he asked for it. He specifically asked Gamzee directly for roleplaying. When talking with Aradia, he originlly tried to keep things professional as leader but the situation got too much for him to handle. While we can totally argue on whether uninformed consent is real consent (And I am sure Gamzee has no idea what exactly the type of roleplay he was doing) at least Equius asked permission. So that is a positive thing for him.
  5. I do like how he gets so up his ss on ordering people round that it takes him completely be surprise that people will do as he says. Like, every time. That’s funny

Things I hate about Karkat (this is super hard to write out)

  1. I hate how he uses the word Bulge. I’m sorry but the way Karkat uses it it just doesn’t work or something. It always annoys me.
  2. I hate his anger. I know that Karkat is a big angry boy, but I hate how he always seems to lash out at everyone he comes across. Hell, even at himself with those future memos. There are some cases I get why, like Karkat being angry for John destroying his home, but most of the time it is just perpetual anger just because. Like, at times when he gets embarrassed and hisses like an angry cat, I get it. But he is angry all the time, without and specific reason, and if he was a really person, I don’t know if I would be around him for long
  3. Karkat’s apparent God Complex. How he needs to be in command and take control and be an ass about it. I know that he can be a decent leader, like what Terezi and future Karkat says, but when he gets so power hungry it makes me want to bang my head on the desk.
  4. I still hate how he treated Jade. I’m sorry, I get how he dislikes John for his hate-love SPADES feelings, but that does not excuse the awful things he said about Jade. Especially when there seems to be no point other than to insult her.
  5. I hate Karkat’s inferiority complex. I get the blood trash thing, but it is because of that that is lead to his actions. He let it get so into ingrained into his head that he felt like he had to hide himself away, and lash at anyone who approaches. Literally everything that I hate about Karkat

I am still holding out on teh fact that the kids did somehow space time information to the troll like what happened with Rose’s manual. Because there is no way I will accept the idea that the reason we have furry art and rap battles is because of the Trolls. They may have created humanity, but they did not create human culture

In all honesty, I didn’t think there was one, because I didn’t think they would win.

Not to say they didn’t “defeat” the game or anything. But in my mind, I assumed that the game was eternal. When when a null session was created, it would just perpetually trap them within a time loop to repeat the game without ever realizing it. And if they won…well…the loop would still happen. They would be sent back in time, or transformed, or something, unable to escape.

Like, there was never an end. The purpose of the game was to keep them trapped in the game, to keep them in that loop forever because they can. And the whole point of Homestuck was to see the kids break out of that loop.

How people managed to figure that one out without help is beyond me. I tried to do the head tilt, but to have the negative space and read it bottom-up, damn that is complex.

I do know the translation of said code:

So we have a powerhouse going on here. If we look at the context again:

Doorman’s boss is a woman, someone who knows Snake well. Or someone Snake knows. And she seems to be injured or affected in some way/shape/form. And while Snake may no longer be in control, he still has power. Enough for Doorman to still fear.

Honestly this one of the most interesting scenes by far

This is one of the best things I have ever heard of.

1. Dave and Nepeta

I see Nepeta like a Jade troll, or a troll that is most like the childess nature that Jade has. I can see them having a tender relationship together. I would lean more towards platonic, but if it is a romantic ship, it would be hearts or diamonds. Like a soft romance.

2. Rose and Jade

This is weird. I can’t see it. I mean I can read about it, if I find something striking to me, but idk. I see them more as sisters.

3. Aradia and Sollux

They were actually pretty cute together before Aradia’s accident. I would see them as Hearts pre-explosion. post-explosion, I don’t think ghost Aradia is a good match though.

4. Gamzee and White Text Guy

This is the funniest crack ship I have ever seen. Because, think bout it? Scratch knows literally all everything of everything. All the information of the world. But he doesn’t know what goes on in Gamzee’s head. Just imagine it. Scratch would try to explain a phenomenon with all the knowledge he has, and Gamzee just responds with “MoThEr FuCkIn MiRaClEs” and Scratch going nuts over it. That shit is hilarious.

5. Kanaya and Rose

I feel they are literally made for each other. They are just too similar to not be. They would be good together. I am thinking Hearts since they don’t have a push/pull balance for Diamonds.

6. Karkat and Equius

well this is just depressing. I feel this could be a messed up relationship. Like from Karkat yelling at Equius to Equius spouting blood caste nonsense which would add to Karkat’s self deprecation, which would fuel Karkat’s anger which would give into Equius’s submission fetish. At that is if they actually decide to try it out.

So no, out of the question. They are NOT together

Good Question. I had to go back and look at them because I barely remember the kids’ titles, let alone all the Trolls. I managed to find all but 3, so here are my guesses for them

Nepeta:  Rogue of Heart

  • So Nepeta is a kitty scoundrel. She might have stolen the love of someone, or even “steal the heart” of the citizens of whichever moon she is on

Terezi:  Seer of Mind

  • She is able to predict her opponents moves by knowing psychology.

Karkat:  Knight of Blood

  • Karkat is a violent boy who kills things. So blood of his enemy, his own blood color, and blood land. Yeah, blood knight.

Tavros:  Page of Breath

  • I feel like this has to do with Tavros being able to fly, but not as high as John??

Vriska: Thief of Light

  • Well, this is about her pirate days. As a thief. And I guess she steals the white piece’s stuff or ring or something along those lines.

Sollux:  Mage of Doom

  • He heard his entire planet dying. He also found/fixed the game that started the apocalypse in the first place. And he has magic powers

Feferi: Witch of Life

  • Kissing people can bring them back to life. Plus she can talk to animals and wants to protect life. So yes, life witch.

Equius:  Heir of Void

  • I guess he gets yeeted into space. Enjoy your new home

Aradia:  Maid of Time

  • She was playing the field to make sure that the correct events happen for the timeline, so yeah.

John – Heir of Breath

  • With his jetpack he is able to conquer the skies. A lot better than Tavros I guess

Rose – Seer of Light

  • I guess she can talk to the gods, if we view Light=Gods. Maybe. Or because she is able to talk to the White Queen.

Jade – Witch of Space

  • She has a trans-dimensional dog monster. And she was able to master her dream space.

Dave – knight of Time

  • He also knows how to fight, and has mastered time travel
