So basically to make sure that trolls don’t have too many hate lovers and kill everything in lust-fueled rage, we have the auspistice to come in and act as a romance therapist to make sure sides are balanced/stay friends and not enter the zone.

This makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the explanation.

Yeah I know what OFF is. I think I first saw it in my high school anime club. I only played a little bit of it, but I got a huge undertale vibe from it. If undertale was like a fucked up Alice in Wonderland. I remember the Cat that looks like it wants to eat me, and it wasn’t talking to the BATTER, but the person controlling him (ME). I don’t remember much of gameplay because I only played it once, but it was really cool. I should get back into it thb

That would be pretty cool to listen to. I mean hey! the script is right there already. My screener has warned me that Octopimp did videos on future stuff, so if I do do it, I would need to be very selective on my choice.

But it would be cool to hear other people interpretations on what the trolls sound like

Fair, but here me out. Rose couldn’t lift the bed up, but Vriska can definitely move the wheelchair side to side with no trouble. So you know, she could try and see if she can push/pull the wheelchair in the direction of the stairs, and see if the chair rolls upward since it has wheelss, and it just so happens to have Tavros on it, since rolling him is ok.

Seeing how Vriska is getting a jetpack, it probably won’t happen. But my point still stands!

No worries, I didn’t think you were mad at me. I was more relieved than anything hearing that this movie that had an anime feel WAS based on an anime.

I always loved animes with a psychological elements to them. Whether like twilight zone style or strategy games. I told my sister about the anime, and we are both down to watching it when we get the chance.

I am so glad that the Paranatual liveblog is getting such a positive reaction from you guys. It feels like I’m going through it hell of a lot faster than Homestuck, so while I might not blog it often, I will blog more. Or hell, I might blog more frequently here on Paranatural given that I’m already hooked on it.

Damn, that has to be hard to just power through my some 7000 post blog I have here. I am glad you are having a good time with this! And don’t worry about the updates too much. I might not get through a lot, but I do post often. So there will be more updates soon!

Yeah, I had a hard about-face on how I thought of Vriska here.

What would make Vriska better:  With current Vriska, she is trying to ease the guilt she feels for losing her friends, or at the very least trying to get her group back together. So I think she is on the right track, albeit with somewhat selfish desires. To make her better she would have to feel remorse over paralyzing Tavros. I get that she kills trolls to feed spiders, Terezi wasn’t innocent in that either, and it was based on survival, so that gets a pass. But to actually understand what she did, and apologize to him.

What would make Vriska worse: betrayal would be up there. She was/is very easily manipulated by both Scratch and Terezi. If she just decides to fuck them over or just fuck the game over to screw with them on purpose, yeah that would be bad. If she somehow turns on her friends again in a fit of rage, that would be some bad points. Especially if she attacks Terezi and almost kills her. I can see a possibility of them meeting up in game, getting into a huge argument, and having Vriska control Terezi to the point of almost death. Yeah, that would be shit.

I hope you didn’t get too too mad at me. I thought I had saw it somewhere that it was based on a comic, but every time I try and search for “Animal World” I couldn’t find it. I thought I was nuts!

But this makes so much more sense that it feels like a gambling anime, because it is BASED off of a gambling anime. It is good to hear that the clown this is only movie, I don’t know what I would do reading a rage clown in a manga. I’ve heard that they are making a sequel, so maybe they will use the next act of Kaiji for it.

I hope this doesn’t deter you form the movie. It is still a fun watch!

( “Village bicycle” is an expression, yes. (”everyone’s taken a turn”)  )

( “village bicycle” is slang for a whoe (everyone get s a ride). So “village two wheel device” is the troll version. So he’s saying Kanaya auspistices for everyone all the time. )

Ok, that makes a little more sense. Language is so weird sometimes

( A few things you might have missed: 2) CC’s typing quirk isn’t just that she uses )( for H, she also turns uppercase Es into tridents and that’s what the exchange with Kanaya about one of her letters getting away from her was about. )

Ah. I missed that quirk. I was too busy focusing on the )( and thought that she was just stretching out the word because she was excited.

(  …Karkat only has one blood color. The cycling of colors you saw at first was just Hussie keeping it a mystery. (ditto for the bleeding question marks. Karkat is an off-spectrum mutant who has blood that’s colored the same as a human, as opposed to Aradia, who’s red is darker than a humans)  )

image

(The thing with Karkat having rainbow blood was just a way to keep it a mystery for the reader. He actually has red blood. )

image

( I hate to break it to you because you really seem to be enjoying the karkat vampire theory, but the gif where karkats blood is rainbow was just meant to represent us not knowing what the actual color is. His blood is actually that bright red color. )

image

( The Rainbow flashing of Karkat’s blood was just a viewer abstraction so that we couldn’t tell, it’s why there were question marks in there. Karkat’s blood is red )

image

( Karkat does not have all the blood, he just has candy-red. The rainbow/question marks were to show the ~mystery~ of his color. )

image

( Ur probably just continuing the joke, but in case you were confused by the rainbows: Karkat’s blood is bright red. The rainbow thing was just to represent how we didn’t know its color yet )

image

It wasn’t a joke. I really did thought Karkat had Rainbow blood. I was excited about it too damn it. A little sad that that wasn’t the case. I wanted to make more Skittle and Rainbow Road jokes.

I like how Hussie made it that Slick was the one to reveal the blood color on the knife, but the rainbow effect was way to cool to ignore. I wished they kept the rainbow thing.

So if Karkat has regular red blood, on their scale it means that he is trash of the trash. So I was RIGHT about his inferiority complex. I guess he was so low he was beneath the Troll blood spectrum.

At least he has Slick and the humans to be blood buddies with.

This is the worst thing you can say that the shit Aradia was Consental. If she loves him, fine. Weird, but fine. But it still doesn’t excuse the fact E still tried to forcible make her his girlfriend. That shit is still creepy.

Also, I know that E is classist, but seeing that the main physical difference between the trolls are their blood color, I basically equate classism with racism in Troll Culture.
