My original list had me put in a ton of space inbetween a regular parent and the Fucked-Up Guardians, but didn’t want it to be an annoying long blank post. Can’t we just have Cake Dad adopt them already? They all deserve better

And you never will see anyone call it ever again. While I do now programming, I completely blanked on remembering the word for 2D array. The best that I could come up with was 2×2 and hoped that people can figure it out. I tend not to think things through when typing

Then she’ll be the best Post-Man in the world. Seeing how, at the moment, she’s the only one

Ok, this makes a little more sense. I thought the fan-inserted commands ended around act 1 and Hussie just continued with the style. If people kept inserting random shit like “eat the mailbox” til Act 4, then that explains a lot. I don’t hate Hussie, just the people he dealt with. Though kudos to him for making an actual story out of “poop on the mailbox”

I call to motion that every plot-twist shit that happens, we just call it “Fuck You Hussies”. And I am glad I am not the only one that feels this

I could say he was murdered by ants and Hussie would just make him die by aliens. But for a serious guess, I think that all the adults are in on SBURB somehow, since Granddad and Rose’s Mom share the same tech as Future SBURB and John’s Dad did some investigations on it.
So I think that Granddad did create the SBURB game as a way of saving the world. Jade had to get her future seeing powers somewhere, right? So he saw what would happen in the future, and in a way to prepare he traveled, got supplies, built his fortress of solitude, trained/protected Jade, etc.Sarah Conner Style.
But he is still a very weird old man. Because he had to have died when Jade knew him, so at least like 5 years ago from this point. Then he had to have it in his will to be taxidermy, so he could be revived in the game world? Which meant that Jade was the one to stuff Grandpa’s body since she was all by herself on this island.
So to sum it, gramps was a very strange doomsday-prepper.

I did know a few things here/there, hard to get away from a prominent fandom like Homestuck here. I listed some things when I first started Homestuck (can be found with the “homestart” tag). But I knew that there were 4 kids, they played a game and the world imploded. Other than that were like bits and pieces of “the dad has no face and becomes John’s son (???)”, troll’s exist in Act 4 and have a blood caste system and everyone loves Kitkat or kacarot or whoever that guy is. And the multiverse in on a toad. I think. Most of the info I got was me scrolling pinterest.
As for expectations, honestly I thought it was a game. Or at least more interactive. But it has gotten really interactive with the flashes and music. I think I was expecting more battle oriented things, but Hussie delivered on mystery and intrigue. Which I am pleased

It was mainly for comedic annoyance. I am thoroughly enjoying Homestuck and whatever bullshit happens. It’s just that Hussie manages to catch me off guard so many times that I can’t seem to catch up.
For example, me and my sister saw that Troll 2 was playing and we jumped half-way into the movie. This was the first time we saw this movie. As soon as the boy shouted “Nilbog is Goblin backwards” both me and my sister were extremely irritated. Not that it wasn’t funny(we were crying laughing), but how the hell did we not see that coming?!
So yeah, whenever I say “I hate this/I’m so mad” it’s usually because I couldn’t/didn’t predict whatever thing just happened, and mentally preparing myself for what will happen in the future. I still love this, but it can get so random at times.
But Lil’ Cal can burn in a Dumpster Fire

So you know old-school cartoons, like Looney-Tunes and Tom & Jerry? The characters fight, then suddenly Bugs Bunny pulls out a Mallet or something. The “hammerspace” is the magic-pocket that a cartoon just pulls out any item they need without the animators having to worry about continuity.
So I refer the inventory as a Hammerspace because it’s basically a pocket dimension of stuff they have, just with more rules.
And yeah, John’s storage is literally a Hammerspace because it is a space for his hammers.

I have no idea which post this is specifically about, so I am going to assume the last video I made. So thank you!

It’s fine if you guys want to explain things to me. Depending on what they are I might not address them. I try to be reactionary as possible, so some reactions (like the arms) were just jokes I would think to make myself laugh and instinctively write it. Or other times I would get it like two posts later, but by that point I already made my post so I wouldn’t bother to change it.
Though I can’t believe it took me this long for me to get that the “Retrieve Arms” command could have also meant weapons. So thanks for that one

Right, I get that the planet was aging. I was just saying that it was interesting how it was one element before the meteor hit, then the opposite element when Desert Dude reaches there.
So when the meteor hit John’s suburb of life, it transforms into a desert thousands of years later. Or when it his an active land volcano, it turned into a water island for a frog shrine. The idea of one place can become the total opposite of itself eventually was what fascinated me

That would be very helpful. I wouldn’t want to get surprise when a long video comes up. It can help me in planning my schedule doing these sessions since I prefer to be along during my audio recordings. Though I am thinking to still screenshot the shorter videos, since I can articulate my thoughts/jokes a lot better writing them down than making them up on the spot.

I’m glad that the audio reactions went really well. Especially for something I just muddled my way through in creating. So thank you for the support of these off the cuff things!

Yeah, that’s a good idea.Seeing how there is only like, what, 6 acts for 10,000 pages, it’s probably best to let it do it’s own thing.
However, this does give me an interesting idea. When I finally reach the end of an Act, I have to do something special for you guys for sticking with me for that long. It could be those Tumblr Q&A lists for me to answer, or ideas for other things I should react to, or whatever.
So if you have an idea of something big I can do when I reach the end of an Act (any of them) let me know! I might use it.

I mean, I guess that explains why he eats only green things. I just assumed that he was a weird human

You know what? I haven’t but this is a really good idea. It took way way too long to take screenshots of that thing. So yeah, next flash I see I’ll definitely do some audio or recording or something

I’m glad to hear that. I obviously came way late into the game on reading homestuck, but I’m glad I’m entertaining the veterans who read it before me and saw homestuck update its last post.
Also, just as a reminder for ya’ll, or in case you’re new, I have an
ask-box
where you guys can send asks. If you send messages, my screen-asker will see them, not me. So try and send your questions as “asks”.
If you want a full description on the rules, just check out my post under the “ask” tag. I’ll answer any question within the rules

No problem! It took me a lot longer to set that up. I didn’t realize how many posts I actually did until I went back through them. Well, now with everything listed it should be better to search through.
