I know that this is encouraging, but I have close to 1000 posts on homestuck already, so this is going to be very daunting

and my suffering continues. I would have to say The Puppets. Just, everything about them. From the *S*W*A*G* puppets, to the fuck puppets, and the brother’s fetish. Seriously, this is super creepy. Like, Goosebumps Slappy. I hate it and I hate them.
Meaning, regretfully, that the clowns are my favorite. The Wizards are just, there. Nothing bad or good, but I like the art. The clowns, as much as I rag on them, at least have some interesting personality to them.

Fair enough. I just guessed which plague it was based on my remembrance of Prince of Egypt.

This is so amazing I wish I realize this sooner. Thank you for showing me this glorious piece of information. Points to you

you are my favorite person right now. I’m glad someone solved my Data-Hash-Juice puzzle

While that does sound like my jam (monster horrors and puzzle games), the last time I tried to read homestuck I got sucked into those side stories Hussie did and ended up messing with those and stopped reading the original plot. I mean, I would totally insert my own stories into my other stories, but for now let’s stick with this slice of insanity
time for another session people, but first, a psa announcement.
My Ask-Screener suggested I post a guideline here on some of the questions that will get passed to me.
Asks that either clarify a concept that I don’t know (Velvet Gloves), explain a background to a thing (Wizard Portraits), or just how I think about the stuff I have already seen, those are going to get answered
Asks that talk about future characters/events, or answers a rhetorical question by saying “Oh that happens on page 8329 etc”, those are considered as spoilers and won’t be passed to me.
So shorthand, anything that asks about where I am currently at/have seen is good. Stuff that talks about future/implies the future will be tossed

The only thing I have seen in velvet is the sad rabbit book and my couch. And not the fancy kind either. I mean, I heard the phrase “kid gloves” but not velvet ones. I guess it makes sense in context of being careful, but it still means that Rose’s writing is always going to be extra no matter what

This vaguely terrifies me, because it implies that the stuff I have already seen doesn’t even scratch the surface of a shitstorm. But I am glad you are enjoying my antics here

Thanks for the heads up. I don’t actually go to main site to read it. I’m lazy, so I bookmark the last page (panel?) I was at and just click on that when I start again. But it is nice to know as a “just in case”.
I also heard it is now part of Viz Media and they are the ones doing the website change, but I’m not entirely sure/don’t want to google to prevent spoilers

Well, I have answered this question before, but that was under the assumption of the Data Structures Already established. But, If I get to make one up, that I can abuse.
I would go with a Cache-Hash Data Structure. A Hash is sort of like valet parking. Each car is given a ticket and stays in one spot. As long as you have the ticket, you can access the car anytime you want. So in a hash, you use a Key to sort and store anything you want. It also adds a layer of cybersecurity too.
But I want to make it into a cache as well. Cache is like mini-memory a computer uses for whatever you use the most. Like visiting the same website everyday? That would be stored in cache for faster access to said website. It is also a specific type of Hash Structure too, so double Hash.
So basically, I want a Fetch Modus with 2 bars, one smaller for more frequently used items, and one larger for other items, all in a Hash Structure.

From what I have read so far, that really does not surprise me. What does is the fact that someone as knowledgeable about computers as him opening a random internet folder of potential malware.

Oh God. That’s like asking what poison I would want to drink. Trees are fast, but like what happened with Rose, if I needed a root item everything else is gone. Stacks are useful, but the fact that the items were ejected like a Queue when it was a stack really urked me. So I’m going with Queue, just because it has a simple method: add stuff to the back of the line. And you either use the first item, or you don’t

Well It’s nice that he can reference his own stuff. But why does the kid have a gun if here’s a wizard?

Well that’s good. It would get pretty confusing if I had to guess when these arcs start and end

Yeah, I was actually thinking about this a little bit ago. I know that homestuck has chapters in it since it is a comic (something like Trolls in Chapter 4?) but I can’t tell if I am still at Part One or jumped into another Act.
But yes, next session I will start tagging with each Act, starting with Act 1 which I assume I am still at

I’m glad you are! Again, I am blown away by people actually looking at this. It’s nice to know that people like the same stupid humor as you do. So thanks!

At least someone around here understand how geography works, because I sure don’t

From what I have heard Homestuck is like 10 thousand pages long. So I am in for a ride here. But it is still nice seeing how weird everything is, even if I have no idea what this story even is about
