SO last time, Nautilus and Cucumber are still on the island away from the castle and separated from Almond (who is still captured with the queen). There they learned that the hero thing is just on a cycle every 5000 years. So instead of doing the usual “defeat” thing where the Nightmare Knight just sleeps for centuries, they want to defeat the knight once and for all.
