Is the mind-wipe spell temporary?? Because that is the only way I can think of why Nicky is so anxious here. Like they are waiting for the spell to be broken and the jig be up.

Damn it has been a while, but this comic is just sooo so good.

So Last Time, we meet Nicky, the robotic necromancer. They’re pretty cool until they decided to take it upon themselves to force Gerda to forget Kay (even if it is out of concern….dick move)

And Cezar is forced to work with his Ex, Jahi, who takes her job way too seriously.

And Kay is still in this……romance tension thing with this alien captor to review dna crystals. Which is terrible. And shitty. On multiple levels.

Section 3 End

That was a pretty good section I’ve read.

My feelings on Nicky are….complicated. She seems nice and considerate enough. And it looks like she lost a family member as well as her own body before becoming a robot. But, she really had to mind-wiped Gerda like that? That was, brutal. And it is worse because she really thought it was the right thing to do, that Gerda was going to get herself killed if she didn’t.

So like I said, complicated.

Cezar is still a gem as always. Jahi is terrifying and pretty cold. It is nice to see Cezar just wanting to go home to his friend (who is still alive luckily) but is forced to do this shit. No idea why the Old Demon Fart wants his mirror back, but Cezar is now forced to get it back one way or another.

Good Luck finding/beating Snow Queen’s infinite squares.
