The Tenth

Right! Time to start Volume 5! Yay for us.

The circus people are all (if not most) Sparks just trying to live their best life. Othar is letting Agatha live do to her legacy. Her legacy is one that doubles as also being evil too, so a good good mix of heroes and villains in her past. Her Jaegar bodyguards are unknowingly watching from a distance. There is still some shady shit going on in the circus, and Gil still thinks Agatha is dead.

Things can only get better/worse from here, and I am counting the volumes ‘til we get our Gil/Agatha reunion we saw in the portal.

The 9th End

Well that was an interesting conclusion. I am more hyped than ever.

So the circus is filled with sparks. Something that can teach Agatha how to keep her genius on the down-low while also helping them out with their own ideas. Mutually Bennificial.

Lars is sweet and a hell of an actor and I love him. Escpecially after his completely normal reaction of freaking out at their latest monster of the week.

I really hope that DuMudd didn’t get eaten by the horse.

Othar now liking Agatha because she is a Heterodyne? God it was bad enough seeing in watching her act as her mom. Now he thinks that she is still his assistant?? She can take charge on her own thanks. And that is a bit hypocritical since he still wants to kill all sparks and himself. Like, planning on killing Agatha anytime soon?

I don’t know what Game that Payne and the circus has to play, being centered around Agatha. But with him not even knowing the rules as well, it makes me think that this isn’t so much of a pact as an unwilling participation.

If Baron does bring Olga to life, just imagine how happy she must be knowing that even in death she managed to trick the Baron.

The Jaegars have a DEEP history with the Heterodynes, and it doesn’t sound all good. A lot of dark history there, and with Agatha freeing the ones being hung, I can see how dark it could get. Just what is this ancient contract? How long were the Jaegars seving/fighting-for the Heterodynes? Because whatever this is, it is going to mean the difference on whether those three are friends or foes.

Friends for now…but for how long? Oh this is going to be so so good, especially after Baba Yaga returns from wherever she is going.

God the Jaegars are the best part of this series.

Even they don’t know what side they are on with the Heterodyne. Their contract means they “serve” Agatha, but what is on the Jaegar’s agenda? Oh, this is some good shit.

INTERESTING. They knew it was her outfit and all. They were just playing the game, acting like how everyone thinks Jaegars would act.

Krosp and Agatha are not on the same page here, but how is Othar able to time his meetings? Like….does he aim for the circus when he falls from the sky?

Who did a “you can be a hero” moment better: Girl Genius or My Hero Academia?

So much commotion, but all so interesting. With the weirdest part being that Othar was the one to catch them in the first place.

I can’t tell if the rescue was a success or not if you are chasing your rescuer out of town….but at least everyone is safe??

My Thoughts: How ancient is this contract, and Why are they all idiots.

To be called out by the people you were trying to save must be jarring, and you probably still think they are idiots.

God, this really feels like she just made a devil’s pact.
