Yeah out of everyone’s adult life, John seems to have the best outcome. (or at least, most normal life)

If there was any other literature that had this same setup I would eat Dad’s hat.

Jake…what do you mean “was”?
Oh shit you probably think you two aren’t friends anymore after all that *hand rolling gesture* STUFF that happened.

Ok, so Jake opens up a little when talking about his friends. That fits with him.

ok, is it just me, or is Jake a bit….nonchalant here. mabye that isn’t the right word…passive? Passive might be better, maybe.
Like I know and you know and we all know how much of a chatter box Jake can be. And one-on-ones are his specialties to talk nonstop. So why does it feel like he seems so quiet here? Is it because he’s still shy?

Jake, this is your other dimensional gramp-dad. You can at least show Some enthusiasm you know.

Not in Homestuck they aren’t.

Names made out of spite are the best moves you can make. Because that is now your identity to spite the person.

God they even sound the same.
I’m going to headcanon now that John and Jake sound so close to each other they’re practically twins.

God they even have the same adorkable face. What splendid dorks.

Alright. (wow that pic is big). Last Conversation. Last talk before the game plan and plot progression and a battle scene. Now we have John and Jake. Two boys who are oh so similar with some majorly slight differences.
Hopefully John can help get Jake out of his sad spiral he had from Vriska’s intervention.
