holy shit this is great. It is such a small thing in the grand scheme of
things, but the implications!

Either since Rose saw John’s room through SBURB it showed the future of what
could happen

Or since John entered this world it altered Rose’s memory of the posters
when the Imps did deface them, implying they were destroyed beforehand

Or when Jade was possessing people as John she had some control and was
marking the posters down

But that seems unlikely because of this

When John and Jade were chatting in the past the posters were defamed, but not when we as the audience started reading Homestuck

So the real question is: How where the posters ruined in such a way that Rose’s had always seen them ruined, but John did not?
