So we now know how Vriska lost her arm/eyes. Cue Ball really does get angry when people touch his stuff, doesn’t he? I can’t wait to see him in the future/present timeline.
Vriska is really coming around as a character to me. She just wants friends, and to go back to her, terezi, and Aradia being friends, but it is hard for her to go through the feeling of guilt that she has over what she has done. I do hope that all the trolls can get along, eventually.
And good news! Because Ass-Bot can never think of anything other than his kink at any given time, I am fully able to differentiate between him and a guy that I know. And I don’t know if that is a good thing or not. I still refuse to call him by his name on principle (until he does something decent and unrealted to his kink)

Aradia’s death was awful. She was killed by her own lover that he had no control of his actions.
Scratch is an interesting antagonist (Villain? Is it too early to call him that?). Knows all, yet is angered when he doesn’t know everything. I am going to enjoy seeing him. Especially since he is the harbringer of doom for Lord English (how many planet guardians is he if he let English destroy a ton of planets before reaching Troll-World?
Terezi is great at playing the system.
But I think what kills me the most is the idea that Sollux was talking to Aradia before. When we first met, where he was freaking out over the game ending the world. He was not only talking to his dead girlfriend, but someone who has changed so much to be nothing like who she used to be. God, I can’t even begin to imagine what that would feel like
And the cycle of vengeance will continue tomorrow.
So this round we get to see the flashback that caused all of their problems. How Terezi loses her sight and how Aradia dies. That White text is such a pretentious bastard. I wonder what “dark master” this asshole is serving. But my idea that he is an Admin could be onto something, if only I knew what he looked like.
So, Terezi and Vriska were murderous vigilantes. Who try to target “bad guys” and bring them to justice. I want to know exactly what would constitute as a troll “bad guy” since everyone on this planet are still kids. But still, Terezi isn’t as clean as I thought she was. And I do hope we get more backstory on that. I do want to read about their tag-teaming here.
Vriska and Ass-Bot are going to backstab each other. You know, like you do. But I like how they have different reasons to giving Aradia her robot. Vriska because she wants to be in Terezi’s good graces again. And Ass-Bot because…..of……..racist fetish desires….
I hate that man.
And apparently, as it was reiterated, the two trolls with the highest blood are fish-people. Either as in “super loves the ocean” or “actual mermaids.” Is the blood thing randomized, or is there like a geographical placement for blood ranking. Just a thought.
( Do you have any ships? Also are you aware of any popular ships in fandom ? (like even before I read homestuck, two particular ships always showed up in my dash) )
Hoo Hoo Hoo. I know NOTHING of the ships. NOTHING!!! I don’t know any popular ships, I don’t know any canon ships, if I did see fan art (rarely) it was a group pic of the humans, but even then I am unsure. So I am a clean slate!!!
I don’t know if I have any ships exactly. Most of the time I see people as really close friends/platonic relationships unless explicitly stated otherwise. (I once didn’t realize 2 of my close friends were dating for months until they kissed in front of me).
I can see Goth and Rose as a thing. They have the same snarky intelligent mind-frame that really compliments each other. If Goth can get her own head out of her ass, they might finally start to turn friendly.
I could see Dave and John being shipped together, but I don’t know if I want to commit to it. I like seeing them more as platonic pals than anything romantic.
Nepeta and Karkat could be cute together (an angry and fluffy kitty combo). But there isn’t enough evidence for me to support it.
Hell, I can definitely see John’s Dad and Rose’s Mom be a couple as well. They had a nice little romantic moment on the ship out there.
I can also say what my NOTP is: E and Gamzee. Nope. No No. Do not want. And yet….. I know there is fanfiction exactly about the roleplay that I just read, or something similar. AND YET….. I am, for some reason, morbidly curious as to what that entire thing would read as.
Personally I have an “anything goes” kind of shipping mentality. When your first fandom/intro to fanfiction is Hetalia where everyone is shipped together, you don’t have strict stigma to shipping. As long as it is a good story, I can see it.
But if there are any particular ships you want my opinion on, send it to my ask. I’ll let you know what I think of it.
( So I get not like equius, he’s not really my favorite either, but you were nicer to a mass murderer who pushed a main character off a cliff than him. Not to say hes not horrible, but there’s a huge gap between him and vriska. )
Ok, when you put it like that, yeah I get the how that would seem weird. But I do have a reason for it.
So, personally, I know a guy who shares the same traits as E. Not all of them, but a lot. His drinking, superiority, controlling behavior. Hell, even E’s look instantly reminded me of this guy (in real life) that I know. He never did that shit to me (my stupidity would cut through his bullshit so fast), but he did do it to a friend. My friend is fine now, but I still hate him for it.
With Vriska, it’s a story. It’s fake. She kills people via larping to feed a giant ass spider that could eat her. Have you met anyone with anything similar to that? Because of that, I was able to distance myself from her, I am able to appreciate her as a character more.
With E? I have seen that shit in real life. And I hate it. Maybe as the series goes on I can see E as his own person (the domination kink actually did help distance the two). But as first impressions go, it was too close for comfort.
First, the mysterious white text that doesn’t even have a username, who acts like he is the grand master of them all and is manipulating Vriska.
Vriska having a more mature side to her when dealing with her friend Goth. And how she is forced to be alone/bad because of her Spider. Nice to give her much more depth than just a murderous gambling addict. I am glad that Goth is her friend.
And he officially meet. Ass-bot (aka: Ass-Bot). I will never say his name. I hated him from his ordering of Nepeta. I hate him with his fucking ‘Roid rage robot fight club. I hate his attitude on Blood Color and supremacy. (WHO THE FUCK TAUGHT THE TROLLS BLOOD HIERARCHY IN THE FIST PLACE COME ON) And more importantly, I hate that he uses his Racism as a fetish to be controlled and dominated over by people higher up on the totem pole.
If your fetish is to also be controlled/dominated, Good for you, enjoy all your kinks. But don’t do what this ass does and use it to enforce a negative social stigma onto people. AND DON’T TRICK PEOPLE INTO ROLEPLAYING YOUR KINKS!!! Seriously, what the Fuck did Gamzee do to deserve that! Leave the troll alone.

So Aradia is a ghost, and always was a ghost. That is a decent twist, and my joke nickname turned out to be true. Wild.
And Spider is Vriska. Honestly, I like her hobbies because I too am a D&D player. But just because I like her hobbies doesn’t mean I like her yet. She still pushed Tavros off a cliff and just admitted to used her LARP to kill trolls to feed her Lusus!!! I get the adults don’t give a shit, but I DO, and that is Fucked Up!!!
So Ass-Bot is terrible, and I hate how he looks, and I hate his Lusus. Nothing will change that.
Terezi and Spider used to be friends, but have a truce against power using. It might be over Tavros, but it could be something else.
And we have seen a glimpse of CuttleFishCuller, the last of the Trolls. She looks like Posidon’s daughter or something. But I wouldn’t say she was the last unknown troll, since we still don’t know about Fish-Man Aquariua yet.

So we have met Nepeta. She looks adorable and friendly, but also has killer instincts. So basically a cat! It’s took bad I have to cut her introduction so short, but duty calls.
And we say more interaction between Sollux and Aradia. I thought for sure she was just going to drop the lusus off the building. I guess she isn’t that heartless, but it would still be better than letting it die slowly by meteors.
Sollux is last, probably because Aradia didn’t want him to interfere with the kids entering the game (and whatever dreams he has). But the info on the yellow blood. Nice that I have more/less confirmation that the text colors are the kids blood type. And that Karkat is the mystery man out of the bunch.

And we got to meet Adaria. She is still weird and ghostly. I have no idea why she is just OK with having the apocolypse happen. Maybe it’s like Jade where she heard all of things that she just accepted her fate. I believe that those voices she heard are the Exiles that will appear. And because of that computer, I know my boy Slick will return!!
And Spider there, yeah damn. She just doesn’t care about the chaos that is happening, as long as she gets what she wants, huh. And at the moment, what she wants is Adaria. May they be weirdly villainous together, but I still don’t like her. Maybe later, I will entertain that idea since my opinions changed for Karkat, but I am still watching her.
Tarvos is basically Butters, and is so innocent. I hate Spider so so much. He is exhausting. Gamzee and Tarvos are rap buddies, but they still fail in comparision to Dave. At least they are having fun. And we find out this game changing information where Terezi always had a lusus but can never live with it because it would create the end of the world. At least she was also to sleep talk with it, and learn the ways of the dragon.
But Good News! I may be back for a Superbowl Session since I don’t really watch the game except for the commercial, so get ready for 2 session in one day!!

So we have some knew hints to the troll group. Goth lives in the desert oasis, and more information on Tarvos. He is sweet, like I thought. His pet habits are truely gruesome and terrifying, but he looks like a decent pet owner.
