It is nice to see Orange Dave help John out with the hammer. That is an awesome hammer and will have some pretty cool results.

And I guess the kid’s dream selves are living in the same time frame as the Castle and the non-exiled exiles. Dream Jade saw the Post Lady before she became the badass desert mail lady. But why are the kids split up into 2 groups, light and dark? I thought they were supposed to be playing together.

…unless…… it was supposed to be teams. Where it would be the Light Side vs the Dark side. That could have worked with the players working together to build up their team to see who would “ultimately win” the war of light and dark.

But because John didn’t have the other part of the game yet, they got stuck in a circle, so all four need to work together, and screwing what the game as “supposed” to do.

Just a thought as I was typing this. It could be cool if that is what happens, who knows

Dave is now truly “awakened” with either Dream Rose of the Future, or Current Rose. Or both if they have merged already. But Dave telling future events through memes of his comics to his friends is not only clever, but very very funny. I love stuff like that

The more I hear about Orange Dave the sadder it is. A year alone, that is so sad. I’m glad that John is starting to see Orange Dave as Dave and a friend, even if he isn’t as big a part in this John’s life. Maybe he will in the future?

I am so glad and happy that Dave is using the power of friendship to help John. His note was so touching, and John deciding to go off and trust his friend…that shit kills me.

Dave has Birb-Dave. At least he has all the information he can ever want now. And cool shit. And at least they get along fairly well. So that’s good. And it is nice to see Birb-Dave trying to protect everyone he can, even if his Rose is already gone. That was just sad.

But it is nice to learn more about the trolls and the world, even if I understood like have of it. I feel like we are like John when thinking about the Trolls/Candy Corn. Because I now see Candy Corn as a Gruffy Cat than an actual threat.

Other news, I am going back to work starting tomorrow, so my schedule is going ot be different now. I will try to do this daily, but I may not do it as long from now on.We’ll see how this goes.

I’m going to stop right here for the day. I hit a huge fucking plot point here,

Not going to lie, this was one of the hardest sessions I’ve done so far. Just, just the idea that Rose and Dave lost two of their friends at the same moment, that they were trapped alone, that they fought their way to reset and change the past to help their friends…yeah I am not sure if I am just reading too much into it, but that entire thing make sad. It is still good storytelling, but damn does that hurt.

Can’t wait to see how this goes forward

I want to watch this, I really really do, but seeing as I am with my family at the moment I don’t have any quiet zone for me to do this, so I have to call it quits for now.

Um, meta stuff…at least John is a caring parent. I feel there may be an army of salamanders in the future. Dave having more of a shitty pet than a spirit guide is great.

And I got a theory now. The “secret subconscious drawings” are all what the parents obsessions are. So Rose has to deal with wizards, doesn’t she? But I swear to god if I am right then Dave might have puppet drawings and I still don’t ant that.

Rose having subconsious drawings is very interesting. Do all of the kids have them, and can only see them when sucked in? Do they tell the future? Because John’s drawings was about his clown posse. At least her cat seems chill.

The trolls are getting better. I make a ranking board that I will update the more I get to know these trolls. So place your bets on where your favorite will end up!

So giving the amount of trolls I’ve met, here are my rankings on them now

1. Candy Corn

Started out as a Dick at first, but has genuinely seemed to change over the course of the arc. Actually seems like the most casual of the group, so I can actually understand a conversation with this guy. First of the Trolls to actually try and apologize so big plus

2. Chaotic DJ

She is an Agent of Chaos and she loves it! She is the definition of Chaotic Neutral who would try and break the DM’s campaign for shits and giggles. I have to give her props

3. Peter Lorre

He’s an idiot. But a dumb blushing idiot who gets flustered when things get to much for him. While his looks do creep me out, he seems to be the most friendly and innocent of the Trolls.

4. Goth Model

She intimidates me somewhat. Not that I am scared, but because she talks in “Rose Speaks” that I feel like I have to decipher whatever she says for the actual message. She and Rose deserve each other. While she seemed hoity toity, when I think of her as Super Literal like Logan/Logic in Sander Sides, I started liking her more. The only reason she is 4 instead of 3 is because I feel like I would be friends with Torus first due to his open nature.

12. Hacker

I love how John just accidentally screws around and still manages to preserve the timeline. It sucks that he has to kill a giant sleeping monster, maybe he could befriend him? Who Knows. At least John is getting along with the Trolls.

But it is nice to see the Mail Lady reunite with her beloved queen again (at least I hope that other white queen lady is beloved and not an asshole in disguise)

At least we get to talk to Jasper again. I hope that cat has some useful information

Ya’ll I just can’t go on. These past 3 sessions have been nothing but text blocks. God that was a lot of text. I need a break from all of these words.

I don’t even know if we made any headway here on my opinion here. I’m still glad that John is taking time to enjoy himself because all this strain can not be good on his mental health. And he seems to get along with Candy Corn better now, so at least there is that.
