Not too much happened, but some important informatin did occur.
Like how an exile could be watching Jade (or Jack) so that is why she turned off the wall.
Mayor is almost about to be exploded by being trapped. If he stuck the ring on he would get himself out, but that is if he bothers to stick on the ring.
PM is trying to take onto her queen duties, and I guess there is now a 5th person coming out? Is this common for all Sessions? 4 pieces and a Queen? Because that would make it the same between the Kids and Trolls session. Well, I hope the new guy will be nice.
So when I first started this blog, doing like long stints of Homestuck, I noticed that after a certain amount of posts I would no longer be able to post anything afterwards.
I googled it, and found out that Tumblr has a limits of posts that you can make, For Text-Posts, you can only do 250 per day, and this is split up between ALL of your blogs, not 250 per blog.
So I have to watch out and be careful where I am at post wise, though sometimes I get a bit too ahead of myself and have to wait til the next day before resetting.
Reblogging shit also counts as a post, so it is really Tumblr’s fault. Though I never knew about the limit until I started this blog either.
God that is like the best place to end it, where the villain has the heroes on the ropes, but they managed to pull out a plan and about to set it to motion.
But damn, what savagry.
First, all of the anime references, friendships, plans, weirdos, this is a great sports anime battle.
Then, damn what should I say about the characters? Not sure how Suzy’s blackmail will work. Muse’s advice was pretty sound looking back on it, but he is also such an ass that I can’t really take his words to heart. The Student Councils are like super weird secret service men. The VP is probably a witch/spectral of some kind, she is too weird not to be.
Then we get the main stars of the show. Puppet-Jeff is specifically targeting Johnny & maybe Max. Why? Is it Spectral powers? Does he know the spirits that possess them? Is there something more??
Cody is like so supportive of his friend, and Puppet-Jeff is using that to his advantage super well. Cody being all Matrix to help is just amazing. I love my son.
Then we have Max, Johnny, and Dimitri. Can I just say that this trio is absolutely amazing together? Like, I love them all separately, but as a whole they are so cool.
Dimitri is so smart and super badass. I think he is a Spectral, specifically one from the Cousinhood. Because if he was for the Consorts, then BL wouldn’t have needed to send in an agent in the first place. Either way, he is a genius.
Then we have Johnny, my weird brave boy. He put himself out there to protect his friends, and Forge was fucking ready to help him. You can say that great emotions can activate the spirit powers, but I would like to think that the protectiveness that Johnny felt at that moment is what summoned Forge specifically.
Then there is Max, who is just trying to live through it all, and almost gets killed. He is literally a normal child just thrown into this, you can’t expect him to be a hero over-night, even with missions and all of that. Ball at Mach 5 is scary
Damn, I can’t wait to see the conclusion of this.
So I will read about Jade doing Jade’s plan later.
Jade and Karkat reconciling and apologizing this the best thing for me to have ever read. I am so happy and proud that my boy can go this far.
There are still many things that concern me (Jadesprite’s cult, The Scratch, Suicide-Sun mission, Gamzee maybe being Lord English (???) ) but for right now, I am going to enjoy this moment for what it is.
Well I will see Jade talk to Karkat later. Apparently he is her patron troll, not Tavros, so that’s nice. Hopefully he will be more helpful now than ever, since, I guess, he is going to bond with her over hating themselves.
So most of this was Hussie’s recap. That was long and a trial to read. But I did it, god that was draining.
Then we have Jade vs. Jade. Damn was all of that sad. First, Jadesprite does have a right to be sad over how she was killed, and having the powers of the universe. But damn just how different those two turned out. Jade still hopeful and fighting while Jadesprite is just sad and negative and wants to die again.
The fact that Jadesprite no longer gives a shit about the clouds and the queen’s prophecy is raising red flags to me. It could be that because she was Dream-Jade, she only really has memories of Prospit and of those Dreams, so since that is the only life she knew of, she would think that John is permanently dead and that she would be too (which, I mean, she is).
But I am still not ruling out the Cult thing just yet. Her really wanting to go back to her “friends”, like who are they? I thought that those were the squid thing from before, but that is the dream Jade had in the bubble, not Dream-Jade. So I am thinking that the “friends” convinced Jade that Prospit were lies and all that, and Jade, having recently died, believed them. I have the feeling that it could be the Durse Dark Gods, but that is just like from a vague unease I get from them. Like how Dave hated them, but also how Rose said something too about how “Prospit lies.” ….not entirely sure, but whoever these friends are, are no good.
Really just show Jadesprite that John isn’t dead and you are good to go.
But can I just say, that Jadesprite sees that there is no hope left for this world/her world right after John “died.” And Dave and Rose were in a bad offshoot when John died too.
Yeah, it is like John is the physical embodiment of hope for these kids, huh?

I mean, I would have thought of merging the dog with her dead grandpa, but I guess I was right about it being herself. But man, the results. This is worse that Bird-Dave, because at least Dave consented to merging with the sprite. Jade had no choice and basically replaced her own pet/family. As well as she has no idea what is going on since entering the game since she never spoke to the trolls like physical Jade has.
And now we get maybe hints over who Lord-English is, and Gamzee is the most important character???

Is he lord english?? Is he a badass in secret? is he evil?? What exactly is going on?!?

Eridan is still a douche. Jade throwing his gun in the trash is great. But she has a grandson that she worked with to build the rabbit?? And she never questioned it??? Weird.
Aradia giving Sollux one last hug before exploding again was heartbreaking, poor Sollux. And poor Equius for seeing it too. I may be iffy on the guy, but seeing someone you love die like that must be awful.
And Terezi…she knew about Jack, didn’t she? She knew that Jack would be going after the kids to kill them. That is why Vriska and Terezi moved them to the beds, so that at least they can be revived with god-powers.
But Terezi was so heartbroken seeing Dave die. Like, this was when she got to know Dave more after they decided to work together. She did this to give Dave the best chance at playing, but damn if it didn’t hurt her.
So that is a turn. Jeff being possessed by a weird black blob puppet master. No idea why he wants a teacher, but my guess is “to rule the school”
Johnny and Gang are like that much closer trying to find out who all of Max’s friends are, with knowing about Ed.
Dodgeball is always a fun way to get the plot going.
Ed is still feeling guilty about how Isabel is treating him, poor kid.
Muse is an ass. All spirits in this club are mainly asses. They are surrounded by assholes.
Isaac is still trying, but Max is not putting up with any manipulation “owing” friendship bullshit, which I like.

We are getting at the climax people! For like, arc…idk, 3? The end of Season 1? I am not sure how Order of the Stick is divided into, like chapters or volumes or what not. But everyone in here is such a joy to read. I love it.
Order of the Stick Theory #5: A band of Devil-Stick players came to town and brainwashed everyone except the party. So they just took sticks and beat the shit out of the evil guys, and thus became a party.
I have to go, things to do and what not.
So, snowman disappears into the void. Mayor is trapped until he poops out the power source. Jade and Dave are having a magical Christmas moment, and that is sure as hell going to piss of Karkat like no tomorrow.
It has now become a game to see who can piss off Karkat the most.
Jade is winning since she made him into a painted doodle.
That is the end of it here.
So…that was a LOT of somethings.
Terezi knew that Dave wouldn’t kill his otherself, so she made another split timeline of Dave to end it.
And with Vriska becoming God, that was heartbreaking and tragic. I can’t blame Tavros for not killing Vriska. That is a huge fucking ask to do for a 13 year old. 13! He isn’t hardened as the other characters about death. And she was just waiting and hoping for her pain to end, I sure hope that the god-tier stuff was worth it.
She does look cute as a butterfly. A Fairy if you will.
But this gives light to the bed.
They don’t have to go to sleep on the bed, and wait to be killed. They just have to die on the bed. Vriska was injured on a different island, but because she died on the bed she still got her bonus powers.
So you can basically force someone to god by killing them in their Quest Bed area. Whether they agree to it or not.
Which is something I think will happen to Dave.
So this chapter is really continue its dark streak.
Literally everyone has problems, issues, personal dilemmas, and won’t talk to each other to get help and it sucks.
Now Spender knows about Doorman being in kahoots with Forge, and if Isaac’s rage is bad now, it will be much much worse with Doorman dead.
Isabel is still trying to be strong, even though it is ok to show weakness. But she didn’t want Spender to get in trouble. I can’t tell if her hiding her injury is because of her loyalty to Spender, or fear to her Grandfather. Probably a mix of both.
Doc is like the only sane one here who is calm when trying to help out the children, but still isn’t one to mess with. I get the feeling she is going to do her own investigation of what happened on that train.
Issac is just inching closer and closer to that Anime Betrayal. Doorman is doing so well to help him, but he does need friends his own age. I am actually think of him and Johnny bonding with Isaac showing Johnny the ropes of being a spectral. And with Johnny seeing Isaac as a friend, he would tell his friend everything that he finds out about the ghosts. Of course, as long as this happens before Isaac goes dark side.
Finally, this is Max’s 3rd/4th day, and he is already basically permanently trapped. He is possessed by like a major enemy of Doorman & company. Honestly the more I think about it, the more I am leaning to Max having 2 spirits. Because a) BL said that snake dude was a grunge, animal instincts. b) we know that Dark Spirit can speak since they talked to Doorman. c) PJ was having fun diving through Max until he couldn’t anymore, which was the night before he got the bat. Meaning that if there another spirit in a body, other ghosts couldn’t go through.
So I am guessing that the Dark Shadow Spirit from the very beginning was the “Dark Spirit” Doorman talked to, who possessed Max on the first night, and Max also just happened to have found the bat with the second spirit.
Like Spender said, Max didn’t do the “big explosion” that newbie spectral go through. That is because Max already went through it. Just food for thought.

Both Terezi and Vriska are literally killing their humans for their stupid competition. Like, what the fuck people, there has to be another way to rise form the slab like jesus here.
Dave’s hesitation explains why Vriska never told John exactly what was going to happen, but that is still a bullshit move.
And Kanaya probably would need to tell Rose if she doesn’t want Rose to launch herself into outer space.
And John’s “busy-ness” that prevented him from helping Jade was him dying and reviving in god-tier mode.
Which I shall call “super-hero mode”
Because I can.

Vriska….damn Vriska. What. The. Fuck. I get her wanting to keep Jack created (I guess) from how she explained it to John, keep the time loops stable and all that. But…Damn Girl, to just screw with the entire Human Session and do everything in her power to make Jack Noir: Demon Dog come to life, that is fucking cold. Like, kept Jade asleep forever, got bad guys to make dog who also killed Dave, made sure Jack got OP powers, still try and convince that forcing an action under the “i am doing the right thing” without consent was a good thing, and there is more shit because she is still pissed when Tavros didn’t do something else!!
And speaking of Tavros, I am proud of him. Of course, his conversation with Jade was awkward and cringy, but it was coming from an honest place and he did respect Jade’s wish to try and be friends. But him standing up to Vriska, and actually willing to fight to stop her, oh man I am so proud of him.
Because you saw the parallels going on right? Between Vriska/Tavros and Rose/Kanaya. Both Kanaya and Tavros think that what Vriska and Rose are doing is wrong/dangerous, and are trying to stop them. The difference, is that Kanaya and Rose are more of a concern friend type, even when pretending to be the “I shall defeat you mortal enemy blah blah blah”. But Tavros, Tavros is serious. He sees Vriska as a bad guy, not a good guy who’s mean, and is going to try and stop her. He is going to actually fight, and given EVERYTHING Vriska did in the past, the fight will aim to kill.
I am honestly excited to see how that fight turns out.
Well…I wouldn’t say I veered off exactly. I mean, I see your point, I have started/reacted to a LOT of stuff with the wheel. But I am using the wheel to still try out other series/comics, not to actually continue those series. My main series are still Homestuck, Paranatural, and Order of the Stick, which I have continued to consistently blog about. It’s just that sometimes I have extra posts that I want to use up, so I try out new things or maybe continue the old things. This way, to me, I have already tested out a few series to pick from as another consistent blog once I am done with the other Main Three.
TL;DR: The wheel was created to try out new series, not to choose a consistent one, so I think the wheel is still working well.

When I finally caught up, I will probably put it on the back burner for a bit. I don’t want a session to be just one page, that would be like 5 posts then, and wouldn’t really be worth it at that point (at least to me). I would probably wait until there was like 5 pages up and available and then do it as a session, so there would be enough to do.

Rose is planning a suicide mission of her dream self, which even if it isn’t a perma-death, she still will die out there.
Dave has to time-draw a shitty black map of the void and is putting it off as long as possible (yes please do don’t actually do it.) and taking care of Jade too.
John as to defuse a bomb, which is completely out of nowhere here. And Rose wants to nuke fireball krypton for the dark lobster gods that Dave doesn’t like.
Kanaya is against this so hard, still friends with Rose, and only gave Eridan a wand because he is being a prissy royal ass.
John is learning about the avatar state somewhere out there
And we learned that Tavros saved Jade but also killed Harley, his confidence comes off as insecure and Jade is not interested in that, got rejected and is trying to go to actual in person friends, and Vriska saw the whole thing.
Damn is that a lot.
