Guys, as of today, it has been one full year since I have started Homestuck. Since this blog had really kicked off. You don’t know how glad I am for having this blog. Not only am I reading an amazing story with so much depth and love and creativity, but I got to interact with amazing people who stuck with me since then. Even if I was tired, or felt sad, or just had a hard day, I knew that doing this blog would cheer me up because of all the wonderful feedback I got from it.
When I started, I never thought to take on asks and screeners. I never thought to make audio reactions. I never thought to make a discord channel. I never thought to try out other webcomics and shows. Everything that I had done was because of your suggestions which has improved my blog immensely.
Hell, I’m starting to draw again! Something that I had always liked but felt intimidated by because I never thought I was good. But your encouragement and notes on each picture I drew has just given me so much. So honestly, thank you for that.
To commemorate this achievement, I feel that it is only fitting for me to do an All Day Homestuck Blog today. Every single available post I have only for Homestuck.

Part 149 End
Well that was fun. I love seeing more of Jade and Dave time together. And now they are there, everything is going to turn out right!
Still doesn’t explain the green mansion from the intermission, so I will keep an eye out for that.

So Jade gets normal dreams….ish. She relives memories which I get would be different from her regular prospit dreams.
And I guess…Feferi is dead. ……how do I process that.
Because we know she was alive and dandy when Feferi gave the order of “no sleeping”. And then we knew that she fell asleep/was asleep when Rose blew up Eridan’s computer.
So…she fell asleep, was killed in her second dream state or something…and trapped in the dream bubbles? Like she continues to live as her dream bubbles by the dark gods?? Maybe this was also why the kids are following the “no sleep” rule, because Feferi was the first one to go under.
Also! Don’t think I missed the black ink shadow thing behind her!!
YEAH! That thing!! Either it is some ink dark god shit where Feferi is getting her powers from, or that ink crap that has been following John around. I am watching it.
Well, plus side is that both Dave and Rose are looking into the dream bubble thing. Hopefully they can be put to use.

So that is the end of the chapter. I used up ALL of my posts to make it this far. Hell yeah go me.
So damn, that is a lot of information. Spender’s Conclusion with Forge, and his victory but at the cost of almost losing his cage of whatever the hell he is possessing.
It sounds like Spender knows the angel that Forge was trying to find. Was she the shadow thing that Spender locked in his chest? It was said that he defeated a high powered spirit, and it fits with Forge not getting his information right.
Day is cute. I like her and her cupid powers. Though her not remembering them being introduced is weird, unless she has amnesia or something. I can’t wait to see cupid.
We have an evil shadow organization people. Just our luck.
The kids….damn they are all getting isolated. Hell, even Spender is.
Isaac is shunned for not knowing anything..again…when the new kid Max gets to know things. Don’t think I didn’t notice how far away he was sitting from the rest of the group.
Isabel first lost her friend, then she was left alone without support by Spender, and then Ed gave her support only to leave her alone while her grandfather chewed her out.
Spender feels guilty over the choices he made and is going to push himself further into his work and leave everyone behind. And don’t think I didn’t noticed the fact that Lucifer was the one to try and seal the Big Evil Shadow in a cage with light. I see what they are doing.
And this is Day fucking Three for Max, and already he almost died multiple times, have no idea what insect saved him, no idea who to trust, learn many things about ghost mortality that he probably didn’t want to know, and is now trapped in town with no way out.
And now you have Johnny and his crew. They make me tear up so fast, I fucking love all of them. Their own internal investigations is adorable, especially when all 4 of them saw them fucking flying like wonder woman.
But what really gets me excited is Forge possessing Johnny. This is going to be a tag team from hell.
Think about it: Johnny and Forge both have beef with the Activities Club. So how cool would it be to see them working together to fight the members/teacher. Like a minor villain team up.
But then, you need to think about the motivations here, that’s where it gets good.
Because Forge literally is a war veteran who was disillusioned by what he did/done. Can speak the language of the pure and tainted, has given up on his life, and is basically trying to find purpose. He wants to serve someone good, for the hopes of feeling justice, clensed, make up for past mistakes and the evil he did in whatever Spirit War that had happened.
And he got Johnny
Johnny, the weirdo who will always look for a fight for no reason. You isn’t tainted, but sure as hell isn’t pure either. He is boiserous and weird and fucking loud.
BUT!
He always looks after his own. Never uses his friends if they don’t want to. Always tries to support his buds, never judges the weird shit they do, manages to calm them and bond with them, even after seeing some weird shit.
What I am saying is that, Johnny isn’t what Forge wanted, but damn if it isn’t what Forge needed. Because can you imagine Forge becoming protective over him, and actually bringing out whatever emotions Forge had lost so long ago? Because I can, and I can’t wait to see it.
I mean, if you hear her argument, then logically it makes sense. To have a stable time loop, you need Jack to gain multidimensional Dog Powers and Fuck up the troll’s game, so the trolls can fuck with the humans. If there was no Jack, then the Trolls would rule the Humans and the human kids would do the server without the trolls, making an alternate timeline of a good ending, but not really helping the current trolls in any way.
But WHAT THE FUCK VRISKA!?! She seriously wants credit for “making the baddest villain” so she can feel vindicated for taking him down?? By HERSELF??? That is nuts, you couldn’t even beat your own Boss by yourself, and you expect to trash Jack? THINK AGAIN!!!
And fine, she sees John’s future. She knew that he was going to activate his wind power and did that….but she still left him in the middle of a burning ocean fire. Just because you KNOW that everything will turn out fine, doesn’t mean you should let someone to suffer like this. Like hot Damn Vriska.
And now we move to the more important part: John has wind powers. If Mayor called it the “windy thing” that means that he saw John use these powers, meaning that John does meet up with mayor again on Prospit. Hopefully to master his powers.
And John is now a blue airbender. I guess that means that all the other kids have elements to them.
Dave is Fire (sick burns and lava), Jade is Earth (plants), and Rose is Water. (rain and her waterfall house). Which means that as soon as Rose is able to waterbend, she can “play the rain” like Jaspers said and be able to create life or whatever. That should be helpful for the future.
So that is where I will stop for this round. I have to be honest, the story is growing on me. There is more world building, and while I have no idea who/what some of the terms are, I have enough to build upon and not hinder the story line.
But yeah, Agatha and Moloch
(got his name, thanks Discord!) faking their relationship to avoid scrutiny under the Baron. Being in this city in the sky. Mesh testing/learning about Agatha and her sudden building skills. But man, that loop Mesh threw that Beetle’s bomb was intended for Agatha, that is a doozy. I wonder how exactly Agatha is going to leave this place? Well, that will be for next time.
So the first arc ends, and so will I. I feel really sad about Helga and Durkon breaking up. That was so unexpected and, while it did fit naturally to this story, it is still heartbreaking. But we are back to the small comic gags, and the gang is back in business.
Order of the Stick Theory #4: They all formed to be a party but they have no idea what their walking order is. So Elan gets a ruler and they use it to determine it.
Yeah going to end it here. I want to continue and get all the cool deets as to why Vriska almost drowned John, but I know that conversation might get long (as all texts do) so I will save that for tomorrow.
It is nice that Mayor remembers John, and knows John from different time points. He is associating the ring with John, so I am sure that John told him to protect the ring. At least that is my way of thinking.
Also can I point out, Mayor used Caps to talk to John in the beginning, and Karkat uses Caps to talk constantly. Connection? Maybe…… >: 3
We don’t have any idea who our main character is. All we know was that she was nervous having sex with her boyfriend, probably for the first time. But that doesn’t tell us who she is and what she is like as a person. Hell, I don’t think we even have her own name yet.
The demons (or aliens…that is still up for debate) going after her with that mind key thing, yeah she is chosen for something. No idea what, but she was chosen for something.
And all of the author notes psalm readings and religious text. I do like the atmosphere that they bring here, it gives a little world building before we actually get to the world. Like, is it a religion in the canon, is it just flavor text, will she even meet these people in real life? It is unsure, but it does pose the world in a larger scale.
And then we have the alien plane itself. Love the designs of all of the creatures and people there. Love Robocop, side of justice, going on his raid and trying to do his job. I am sure he is going to be the introduction of our protagonist to the world, since he knows what that light on her forehead is.
Most of this chapter was mainly world building instead of character focus, but I think that is fine. The art is gorgeous, the world is interesting, and the questions it set up are engaging to find the answers to. On my Fibonacci scale of 1-21, I would give this a 13. A good start, and I wouldn’t mind continuing it.
I thought I was crazy! I couldn’t look at my own stuff! I thought it wasn’t loading properly or something. Luckily I rechecked it and it seems to be working fine now.

The snake thing is pretty cool. I really so like it, though it doesn’t have a conscious yet. Maybe Max is possessed by 2 spirits, which would explain the thing that was talking to Doorman. Or one spirit possessed the snake, and the snake possessing him. It could work that way.
And then there is BL and Max. I…I don’t think I like her anymore. I mean, she is still fun and zany from before, but now I do see a dark edge to her. Like she only shows what she wants to show. Be crazy to get people off guard over how she really is. She reminded me a lot of Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls and I don’t think I can get rid of that mental image just yet. She may do what she can for her organization, but she is still dangerous.
Which makes me proud of Max when he stands up to her. Protect the spirit, ask about Isaac, refuses to trust her. Because she has done nothing to earn that trust so why should he? He is right to be wary, it will keep him alive.
I mean, I get that Jack was a big bad, but I didn’t realize that he was THE Big Bad.
Does this mean he was the shitty lord english guy? That HE was the demon that Scratch is serving??
I mean, if Jack can hop dimensions and into the trollverse, what is to stop him from hopping to other planes as well? What stops him from also time traveling??
And, if he really is English, the leader of the pool table gang, than means that the former black queen of the Troll game is his subbordinante, which is something I highly doubt Jack would pass up on.
But fuck Vriska, why did you do it? Why did you make John fall asleep? He was floating over an ocean for fucks sake! He could have drowned!! First Dave, then John? What are you doing my girl?!?
And Karkat, oh god that was horrible. Horrible. Right when he thought it was over (for good or worse) and that he can relax, he sees Jack. And he thought it was his Jack. And Jack kills him. To finally awake and open up, just to be killed by a friend, that is just heartbreaking.
And don’t forget Bro is dead. That dog powerup gave Jack the edge to kill him. Why did Jack take Cal? Who the fuck knows. He took the sunglasses too, piece of shit. And I don’t know where Bird-Dave is. Is he ok? Was he also killed, or sent to stand-by mode? So many questions.
AND JADE IS STILL FLOATING WHO KNOWS WHERE IN SPACE!!!
But there still seems to be slight hope, just slight. The Dog-Ship, Sirius. The Exiles can use that ship for who knows what, and where. But if Mayor has the ring, oh fuck mayor has the ring I just realized that while typing this right now
If Mayor has the ring, then they can create an omnipotent god too! An Angel to Jack’s Devil. They can be on par with Jack’s tenacity and fight on an evil battle. THE EXILES CAN WIN!!! You just need to wear the ring, and Boom! Battle of the gods is born. But The White Queen abdicated, and with her honor I doubt she would wear it again. My money is on either Mayor (because he is a sweetheart) or Post-Lady (Because she is a badass).

Well that was fun. They all managed to get out, Durkon got a new girlfriend, and Roy’s backstory just got revealed. Father was killed by evil wizard, so son advenges him. A classic for a fighter really.
Order of the Stick Theory #3: They were at an amusement back with those guys in the announcer booth that makes the animatronics talk. Yeah, they controlled a talking tree to convince Elan to make his own party for the trees and he actually did it.
Well…We will end it here. The next troll is honestly a 50/50 toss up on who is the one who hates John. I want to say Karkat, but there is enough evidence for it to be Vriska too. Guess we will find out tomorrow.
Rose is still scary powerful, even John noticed it. I hope he can be the one to at least make her slow down in her goals.
At least Jade is ok. Even though I have no idea how she got in, or what her sprite was prototyped as. Hopefully it is something so John can get his treasure.
And John is trapped on an ocean of oil on fire. I have no idea how he got there, and neither does anyone else. I want to say ghost powers, but probably not. Unless he got zapped by Jack’s lightening from before. At least he has a goal of getting treasure, whatever this Tumor is.
well, that was a tear jerker. I mean, what the fuck. You introduced the concept of talking to your spirit with Eightfold, only to actually kill her off here in like the worse way. Like, why…why must you make me feel sad like this? And then there is Max, with weird centipede thing. Was that his snake, or just right outside the train? I have no idea, but at least he is safe…For Now.
Well I am going to end it here for the day. Got a lot of St. Patricks day stuff to do, so need to get doing them.
Finally Jade is about to go in and everything seems to go pretty smoothly, at least better than the other 3. Not giving Jack more power by waiting until Jade is in the game before prototyping is smart. But I am not sure it will work, whether due to complications in the game, or the sprite being prototyped on accident. My money was on Gramps/Dream-Jade prototyping. But now it would be that Blue Lady Maniquen.
And Jack set the world on fire. I mean, with all that oil it was bound to happen sooner/later. Would the fire kill the denezin in the planet? Since he was the cause of the oil? It would make things a lot easier for John if that was the case. But Jack was basically being defeated by a puppet for round two. I would be enraged if my second attempt for a battle turned out like that. Like, damn that was pretty embarrassing.
Also Bird-Snake Dave is so cool and I love him.
CQuest 2 End
That will do it for me here. Man, I got super into it this time around. I love the color schemes and the chalk drawings. I love how it feels like their world is literally a video game, or at least has a video game storyline set up. I mean, why else would one of the power orbs have a power button on it? That is the only thing I can think of.
Cucumber is a sweet boy who doesn’t want any of this. Almond is an epic girl who wants ALL of it. The dad is weird and trash. I noticed that he has some behaviors that I found in my other favorite characters (like pnat Dad), but the main different is that Lettuce Dad really doesn’t care what his son likes and just seems to push him to do something he doesn’t want to do while having the “no girls with swords” motif. Well, not everyone can be as progressive as our two siblings.
This is still a really fun and cute series. It might be a while before the next time I blog this, but I know I will enjoy continuing it.
*Sigh* of course Hussie would do that to us. Oh well, time to end it here.
So Jade and John are now planning to save Jade! I love their different opinions on Karkat. That boy is a whole lot of issues. It looks like Jade has like 6-7 options for her sprite, the 4 mummies, her dead gramps, her dead self, and the dog. I am leaning for the dog, but it could be her dreamself version, who knows.
Again, these kids should not see dead bodies or this ptsd crap. They deserve better.
And Jack and Bro are round 2 fighting! How did Bro get to John’s planet? Who Knows! I’m more afraid that Jack can fly between planets without a problem, because now he can attack the kids anywhere he wants. But Jack giving Bro his sword again for their second duel, that is lawful evil right there. He wants to kill Bro, but he wants it to be worth the fight. I hope we get a video of that fight later on, that would be sweet!
Prologue End
So that went well I think. I honestly really do like Out-Of-Placers. I thought it was going to be more about the Ant-people since they were the first creatures we had encountered, so seeing the Yinglets take the stage was really surprising. And Adorable. Really really adorable.
I love the tiny hints over how the world is like. The multiple wars, the one lady traveling through the mountain with a baby like she is looking for sanctuary. The bugs that are used as work and food, because they can’t waste resources. All of them, all of these reasons. And the researcher pages of the places and races really did help set this world in this ancient calligrapher era.
The main cast of characters are amazing and cute. I love the monster cast. Yannit is innocent and curious and sweet. Isher is so so wonderful and adorable and she really is best girl here. I wasn’t too much of a fan of Elim and Kassen at the start, but that turned around once Kassen got turned into the Yanglet (sorry not sorry).
And the hint hint of learning about Yinglet culture. I am a sucker fir stories like these because obviously something is up with miss priss there. And I don’t really like how the treat their females like treasures. Yes I get they are super important due to gender ratio to be protected, but you noticed the changes in the adult female Yinglet? Her smaller tooth (that they said she shaved) her straight hair, she cut the hair off her tail and banded it together. Like, I get that they make her look regal and pretty, but it also feels wrong. Plus her creepy evil smile there, she has plans too.
So I went through 38 pages in one go, but I was only intending on doing the prologue here. When I do other sessions, it will be much much shorter. And given how short this (not even 100 pages yet) it should be quick for me to catch up.
So on my fibinacci scale of 1-21, I give it a 13. I am a sucker for culture stories, the main monster cast are all sweet and cute, the Yinglet are super super cute, and Kassen is a sassy guy with a good heart. This would be a series I would love to continue.
Going to stop here. Been going on/off for this session (sorry about that) but this is a nice place to end.
This was a super interesting climatic battle and set up that I would love to create as a DM. Like everything about this and the characters and “evil” characters are just so perfect. It is amazing what these guys are able to do here.
