So Terezi is the cool kid, and her freaking out of the money was great. Now she rich. And that lead her to Dave, where we got to see ALL of his past.
His bro is trash, and a horrible parent. Might be a nice guy, but a horrible parent.
Terezi and Dave bonding is pretty cute, their first conversation. But I worry a little. See, John was wearing a Spades shirt and when Karkat saw him he was instantly spades smitten by John. So since Dave is wearing hearts, will Terezi feel Heart feelings for him, even though she was Hearts with Karkat? Questions!
Thank you for that. I knew that they were nonbinary, but when I type sometimes I mistype the wrong word and just keep going without double checking first. The post has been corrected now.
So we are learning more about spectrals and their abilities. Max can be amazed, but people around him will think he is a weirdo. Seeing the spirit come out of the book is really really cool, and it is nice to know that the spectrals and spirits can be considered partners like 8-fold and Isabel. 8-fold is so cute and I love her and want one. (but seeing how she needed to kidd herself constantly, yikes)
Then we have our mysterious tin man. He is apparently acting as a mecenary/bodyguard/army dude for this mysterious “master” that Doorman is serving. And it sounds like he and Doorman have some history together too. I love the feel that he has, that it really does act like they are trying to protect him so he can fight in a ghost battle or something.
And we all know that eventually they will all meet up on a train. Can’t wait for that party to happen!
That is going to do it for me. I am done for the day.
So Terezi and Dave are working the stocks together. I am glad that they get along, though Terezi picking him as the human to go to is probably from her smelling his blood first. Like a shark in water. It is probably through Terezi than Dave knows about Vriska.
At least I am not the only one to notice 413 (in canon anyway, I know a lot of readers have picked this up by now). I can’t wait to see the end game for that number, it better be something.
So that is going to do it for tonight. I had a lot of fun reading this. This reminded me of my own dnd experiences as a player and as a DM. All the characters are cute, and they have really good comedic timing for their jokes. It was a good day.

So mainly Texts in this round, but I enjoyed it. Vriska has an infatuation with John here, maybe because she wants to rebound away from Tavros (probably) and chose John. And if you think about it, when she is doing her small-time pranks (manipulation) like not giving her real name, John is a prank master, but can also dish it out in turn, they are pretty cute together.
At least I think so.
Day 3 Dave obviously does not.
And yeah I get it. Vriska is nuts, and has done a LOT of shitty things. Sure, Scratch is right about them being necessary (still fuck that guy), but that doesn’t stop the fact that she still did them. And I am happy she is trying to be a better person, but Dave still have every right to be suspicious of her when he finds out what she did in the troll’s session.
I just want to believe that she can be good. And she can choose good.
So the 3rd Series has been decided! It is Order of the Stick!
Thank you so much for everyone who has participated in the survey to help with the decision making. This was the most voted of the options given, but that wasn’t the only reason why I chose it. Compared with the other highly voted series, Cucumber Quest and Genius Girl, OotS has more of a quick strip plot feel that would probably help with taking a break with two plot and arc series. Sure, there might be plot in the future, and it is a long series. But for right now, I would like some sassy D&D comic strips.
But this isn’t the only thing. Your comments have also made some wonderful suggestions that has given me ideas. So while my main series will be Homestuck, Paranatural, and Order of the Stick, I have side days where I will continue to test out other recommended series from DaFukin’ Wheel, and continue blogging the other already liveblogged series every so often.
This way, when I do get caught up/complete one of the main series, I will put out another survey with series that I have already started without taking time away from blogging a main series.

So that is going to do it for today. We went through a lot of pages, and had a few new characters here.
So Walker and Boss Leader.(seriously, with all the anime stuff Morrison has to know what B.L. means) Walker is one of those “you seems suspicious” types, and Boss Leader is so cool. She reminds be a lot of Lup from The Adventure Zone. Like serious and fun! And it is nice that, while Spender is a dork, he is intellegent and capable in his own right.
Max bonding with PJ is nice to see, and I guess Isaac has a life outside of Max for the club (that deer thing took me SO off guard).
But now Johnny’s gang is up to do their own investigation. And during Inspection day too. Along with ghost train man coming their way. Oh man oh man, this will be a fun mess to watch!
That is it for today. And now have two ships that are cemented in my mind. I want Kanaya/Rose, and Vriska/John. They both seem to complement each other and I really find them cute together. But dammit it, Rose’s journey to the secret place is going to get herself killed which will make Kanaya sad/suffer and I don’t want that!

Huh, it looks like that there were chapters here this entire time. And I thought this was ALL the prologue. (it could be, who knows). Well, I’ll just keep the Prologue tag as Vol 1 and leave it at that (for now I guess).
Overall view: It took a while for me to get into it. I like the setting, the weird things that happen in the background. The robot designs like instead of a prosthetic leg a guy has a spider crawler. Mutant people are the norm (wolf man, multiple hands). And I still don’t know about the glass jars of death. All of that is pretty interesting to see what this world is like.
But the characters? I don’t think there is any that really pulls me. Most of the scientists were crazy (RIP beetle you nut), the soldiers weren’t likable (but they were intentionally trash) I ended up rooting for what I assume to be the villains of the series, or at least a Pretty Bad Guy like Baron here. Agatha is the protagonist, but I am more curious about why she gets these headaches than who she is as a person.
I like what they were going for with the headache=color thing. When see
feels emotion she gets colorful, but the headaches suppress that. That
is interesting.
But all I got from her was that she was a klutz student who everyone seems to take advantage of, but then the focus shifted to villain inspection day and the downfall of the university’s scientists.
And the art…isn’t really my thing. It took a while to get use to, but the way some of the faces and bodies are drawn, it doesn’t look right. Like the eye alignment is off or a body part shouldn’t be where it was at. My guess is sense this comic started in 2002 (holy shit that was a long time go) the art is going to get better after 17 years worth. And lord knows that I can’t draw the same. But it is more or less the setting/questions the plot has that is attracting me to this series, and not necessarily the art itself.
ok, I am going to end it here. I know that it doesn’t feel like I was really moving forward, but it was super interesting to reread the conversations form Kanaya’s perspective. (or at least most of them). I can not wait to see when Rose pulls the curtains and show how it was John the entire time
ok, this was a lot of fun to read. As much as I love seeing these guys as their own person going on an adventure, I can’t help but imaging the players who control them. How the DM must feel at certain points, the homebrew stuff to create (I am making that Belt of Many Pockets). It was a light, fun enjoyable read that pokes fun at the classes and events that have plagued players at least once in their campaigns. I heard from the Discord that the major plot stuff takes a while to get into, but honestly, isn’t that true to D&D anyway? Having the players do smaller things and managing to tie it in to a bigger campaign? But until the bigger plot comes, I am going to enjoy the smaller moments that show why D&D is fun to play.
Like there are ever rule for anything ever. You can absolutely recommend videos, animes, webcomics, fanfic, and I will blog about it to the best of my ability. The only Hard No I can think of is any series that is are hentai/porn. If the series has nudity/sex, that’s fine, but just not straight up porn. Meaning things like violence, horror, romcoms, general stupidity, all of that is on the table for me to react.
(though if I do eventually do horror, it might be a video reaction, just so people can hear the screams)
If you guys have a lot of recommendations, or even one favorite, please let me know in The Discord. We have a liveblog idea channel set up for that purpose, and it is a lot easier/faster for me to respond when your idea is on the list.
I went back and fixed those up. It was my first video blog, so I am sure there were a few hiccups. But for a first attempt it went pretty well. I am sure not to miss them the next time
I will never apologize for this. This is the best thing ever. Because if you are reading this as Dr. Heinz Doofernshmritz (which I am pretty sure you are now) that means you, yes you, have heard Doofernshmirtz say “fuck”. You heard me right, you heard Doofernshmirtz say “fuck” and “shit” and all sorts of naughty words that that is hilarious to think about.
I am so glad that people do like the trials that I have been doing. I can only thank you guys for all of the different content I am blogging about. I have never heard of the majority of these series so I love branching out into new webcomics and shows. And I am glad that the anime blogging went pretty well for a first attempt. Jojo is on my list, so I while I don’t start it now, it is an option for later.
