At least you are protective of the kids, even if you aren’t a friendly teacher

I mean, have you ever aggressively clap in someone’s face? Stops head absolutely

Between Ed and Spender, Gramps is going to burst a blood vessel and die

oh my god, you actually trained that moron?? And that is your BRIGHTEST PUPIL!?
This is the greatest thing I have ever read
Suffer Bald-Mountain because THAT GUY was your best bet
(or it was a pun because Spender attacks with light? either way, my point still stands)

suffer with the grass gremlin

Spender was so close to actually being cool there, and that is why I like him

He parked his car on the roof, that is why he is up there

Spender is the only positive feedback that Isabel gets for her powers and that I approve

Ed is concern, Gramps is “told you so”, wolf girl just wants a break, and Isabel is determined

Oh yikes on both sides. She can’t “earn her blood”, you are basically telling her that she needs to earn her place in the family, not to earn her power. And Isabel has been pushing herself to become more powerful to get her gramps’ approval, but it has got to the point where she can no longer control her power and thus lashes out like with the book.
Such a problematic dynamic and I love written drama like this

Oh shit, she is trying to get gramps approval over her dad’s? Was her dad banished or something?? Does she even care???

ok yeah fine, you don’t want her to get cocky, but I don’t think you are going the right way by subconsciously teaching her that power is everything and skill is everything

ok, I love how when she is finally letting out her emotions 8-fold is acting up too. Like, that is good good stuff, because she does have a point

Oh shit Gramps, she is calling you out on your teaching there. Damn that was some good shit
